There are a lot of transfers which can be done every season, so here let’s have a look at 5 bargains to be had this season.
- Tiemoué Bakayoko
Tiemoué Bakayoko transferred from Monaco to Chelsea last season, he had an average season last year. This season he was loaned to A.c Milan where he had a very good season. He has had an above average season this year where he contributed to just 2 goals this season, but he was playing in a much more defensive position as he made around 3 tackles and interceptions, he has also made 1.4 clearances per 90 and just gets dribbled per game.
He has been also provided 1 key pass per 90 and also made 1.3 long balls per game and completes 43 passes per 90 with 86% per 90.
I think that he will be sold this season as Chelsea have bought Mateo Kovacic for 45 million pounds and Chelsea have a lot of options and they would like to sell him especially because of Fifa’s new law on loan system, I think that if Frank Lampard will not like him he would go on loan and may be sold.
I think that he might be available for 20-25 million and someone like Wolves can get him and Nuno Santos can turn him into Joao Moutinho replacement as he will be 33 this season.

2. Otávio
Otávio is a defensive midfielder playing for French side Bordeaux. He has ranked 2 in tackles won in whole of Europe and is a very solid player. He makes 5.2 defensive contributions per 90 combined with 1.7 fouls per game. He is also a solid passer as completes 60 passes along with 2.7 long balls per game with an accuracy of 88% which is very solid.
There are a lot of things at which he can improve like- he gets dribbled past easily around 1.7 times per game, along with that he doe not create a lot especially as he makes one key pass in every 4 games.
I think that someone like Everton should take a gamble on him because they need a replacement for Gayue who is getting older. Otávio will fit in perfectly as his replacement as he does all the jobs Gayue does- break up play and pass it to the nearest teammate. He will just cost about 10-15 million and is easily a bargain.
3. Armando Izzo
Armando Izzo is a 27-year-old centre back who plays for Torino, he has had a brilliant season and this is shown by his inclusion in whoscored’s team of the year.
He seems like he is like Diego Godin- as both like to intercept the ball, are very good in aerial duels and both are also good in the air. However, Izzo’s game relies a bit more on interceptions as well. He seems like a solid player and that is shown by his 4.5 defensive recoveries per game. He is also a decent passer as he attempts 50 passes and 4.3 long balls at a success rate of 77%.
He has been linked to move to Arsenal for 22.5 million euros which seem perfect as he provides the qualities that Arsenal lack, but I think that Atletico Madrid should go for him as he would be a perfect stock gap.

4. Borja Iglesias
Borja Iglesias is a 26-year-old striker who plays for Espanyol. He has scored 17 goals this season for his team, which is 35% of his goals.
He just takes 2.4 shots per game, this might look small but out of this 2.4 shots- 2 come from inside the box. He also wins around 2 duels per game, his xg chain is about 0.57 and provides 1.2 key passes per game .
He looks like a similar player to Mauro Icardi and I think that someone like spurs should go for him as a replacement for Fernando Llorente and be a backup to Harry Kane but I won’t be surprised if someone like West Ham go for him.

5. Stefano Sensi
Stefano Sensi is a 23-year-old who plays in centre midfielder who plays for Italian side Sassuolo, he is a very good player and does it all- passes 50 times per game and attempts 2.6 long balls per game both with an accuracy of 90%. He also provides 2 key passes per game which have made him involved in 6 goals as well. He does not leave his defensive side as well as he completes 2.5 defensive actions per game.
He is a very good all-round midfielder and will suit perfectly to a team like Leicester City if they do not get Youri Tielemans as he will be able to do all the things maybe not as perfect but I think Rodgers will improve him a lot and he will just cost about 20 million especially when Pablo Fornals went for 25.
