There are always a lot of gambles a club can get, these are players who you can get on cheap, these guys may turn out to be a superstar or very bad players. Some of the notable previous gambles include Cesc Fabregas to Arsenal. So here is a list of 5 gambles your club should take.
- Jonathan Bamba – Napoli
Jonathan Bamba has had a relatively unknown season. He has been in the shadow of the wonderful Nicolas Pepe. He himself has had an amazing season, he has scored 13 and assisted 3 in 36 games of league 1. That means he has a goal contribution every 180 minutes ahead of promising youngsters like Alex Iwobi. He can play in attacking midfield as well as on the left wing. His game is basically to cut in and shoot from left, but he is a decent crosser of the ball as well. He is very hard working as he makes around 2 tackles and interceptions per 90 and fouls 0.7 times per game.
Napoli had a relatively down season this year, despite finishing 2 in serie a this season, they did not push Juventus as they did last season and got knocked early out of the champions league and were knocked out by Arsenal in round 16.
Napoli’s highest goal contributor was Dries Martens who is 32 and may start to decline, I think that Bamba would be a perfect replacement for him as both can play at centre and on left as well. I think that they will get him for 20- 25 million, which is very cheap considering the state of the market.

2.Florentino Luís-spurs
Florentino Luís plays for Benfica, as a defensive mid. This year has been his breakout season and has played about 1100 minutes this season. His stats look frightening as he makes around 6.7 tackles and interceptions for a Benfica side who dominate the ball in their league and currently are champions. He also attempts around 41 passes with 90% pass accuracy and completes around a long ball per 90.
Spurs have looked very thin in the centre of the park since Moussa Dembele’s departure, they have overperformed quite to much this season and if Poch does not get some signings they could lose their fourth spot to someone like Arsenal who might strengthen massively.
I think Luis will be made more dynamic by Poch and will dribble more, he is an upgraded Erik Dyer and he would not cost much as his market value is between 10-20 million, which could be easily obtained by selling someone like a Victor Wanyama who hasn’t played much.

3.Boubacar Kamara- Atletico Madrid
Boubacar Kamara is a 19-year-old defender of Marseilles who can play as a centre back as well as a left back. He has played 2800 minutes this season, made 3.5 tackles and interceptions per 90 and clears the ball around 3 times per game. He also passes around 45 passes per 90 with an impressive 86% pass accurecy and also completes around 3 long balls per 90.
Atletico Madrid has lost 4 key defenders this defender include Lucas Hernandez whose place Kamara could take as he covers the position that the latter plays. He is also good in air as he wins 2 ariel duels per game. I think they can get him for around 20 million euros which are perfect for this kind of player.

4.Francis- Arsenal
Francis is a defender of Real Betis who is a right back, but can also play as a left back. He has played around 1900 minutes this season and has very good stats- He makes 3.1 tackles and interceptions per 90, clears the ball 1.5 times per game. He is also a good passer as he completes 35 passes per 90, dribbles just 0.7 times but gets fouled around 2 times per game.
Arsenal does not have a back up to Hector Bellerin and had to play Mitland Niles there, which made them 1 dimensional as he could attack a lot. I think someone like Francis is perfect for Arsenal as he can provide cover at both sides of defence and is also a decent player. I think he will cost about 10- 12 million euros, he will be good if they sign him.

5. Pablo Fornals- Leicester City
Pablo Fornals is 23-year-old Spanish attacking Midfielder who plays for Villareal. He has been amazing for them for a couple of years. This year he has been amazing, he has 11 goal contributions in a struggling Villareal side. His underline stats are also very good as he completes around 1.5 tackles and interceptions per 90,dribbles once a game and also gets fouled once a game. His defensive contributions are also very good as he makes 2.2 tackles and interceptions per 90.
Leicester got Youri Tielemans for 6 months of loan, but I don’t think that they will get him on a permanent deal as bigger clubs than they are circling around him. I think Fornals will play amazingly with James Maddison as 8 and will suit perfectly in Brendan Rodgers’s plan and he will cost north of 20 million which is basically a bargain in today’s market.
