Relegated players are a commodity a club can get on a bargain and there are a lot of hidden gems that your clubs need to buy.
- Emiliano Velázquez
Emiliano Velázquez has had a breakout season at Rayo Vallecano. He has made 18 appearances. He has made appearances at centre back and right back.
Velázquez has had an amazing season and his stats back it. He has made 5.3 tackles and interceptions per 90. He has also cleared the ball 6 times. His numbers might be a bit boosted by Rayo’s lack of possession.
I think a club like Watford should sign him as they have average premier league defenders and he could be the best of the lot. Someone like real Sociedad or Celta Vigo who are very bad in defence could also pick him up.

2.Naim Sliti
Naim Sliti was relegated with Dijon in ligue1. He is in the prime of his career and has produced eye-opening stats and the dijon number 10 looks like he will be on the move.
His stats tell us that he has carried the relegated side, he has contributed to 8 goals and 4 assists. That does not look world class but his stats might drop as the player quality around him might drop in comparison to him as his xg that he should have 6 assists. He makes an elite 3 key passes per 90. Unlike other numbers ten’s, he also contributes to defence as he makes around 2 tackles and interceptions.
Sliti could move to a club like Lille as they might lack goal contributions after Nicolas Pepe leaves he might provide more experience to a young side and could really contribute to that side as maybe a squad player.

3. Frederic Guilbert
Frederic Guilbert is a Fench player playing for French side cean who got relegated in Ligue 1 this year. he is a very versatile player as he has played in multiple positions like he primarily plays at right back, but can also play at centre back, left back, right midfield and at right wing,
He has incredible stats, he profiles like an old school player. He makes 5.2 tackles and interceptions and 3.1 clearances, he also completes around 30 passes per game and around 2 long balls per 90. There are a few concerns to look out for him like he commits 1.7 fouls per 90 and he has just 70 % pass accuracy.
I think he will profile good under an above average coach and he is going to Aston villa, I think he will have an okayish season in prem and I think he may be dropped after 1 or 2 bad performances especially if they are in threat of relegation.

4. Ismael Bennacer
Ismael Bennacer is an amazing defensive midfeilder,i have profiled him once before but he is just too good to be left out of it.
He makes around 4.1 tackles and interceptions per 90,gives a key pass every 90 minutes and dribbles around 2 times per game and gets fouled 1.5 times per game. I think he is the next Moussa dembele.
He was on Arsenal’s books for some time but they were foolish to let him go like Serg Gnabry.
Napoli is the front runners for his signature but I think someone like spurs should go for him as they do not have any Moussa Dembele replacement and he will cost just 10 million euros. and i think there has overperformed a lot and if they don’t buy some players there, they might fall down from this year’s position.
Ismael Bennacer will have a decent career if he goes to naples or london especially if he is putting these numbers at the age of 21.

5. Cristhian Stuani
Cristhian Stuani had an amazing 2018/19 for Girona but was unable to prevent them from relegation, he is a reliable goal scorer and a hard worker. he has scored 40 goals in 65 appearances for Girona. His xg suggests that he should have scored 15 but he has overperformed all of his life so that should not be a concern.
I think he would be a reliable backup to any premier league team, he has been linked to Celtic which is good as he would score goals for fun and it would be a nice ending to his career but I think someone like crystal palace should go for him as they have no reliable goal scorer and he would a quick fix for a year or two.
