Jean Philippe Mateta has had an amazing breakout season at Mainz. He has scored in 14 and assisted in two in 34 Bundesliga games, that means he has a goal involvement in nearly in every other game.
His underline numbers show that he is having no fluke as his expected goals suggest he should have same goal contributions, he takes 3 shots per game not very high but 70 per cent of his shots comes from inside the box.
He is a poacher and very alike to Mauro Icardi. There are some things on which he can improve like he can be a more complete player and should have more defensive contributions.
2. Ismael Bennacer
Ismael Bennacer has had a phenomenal season at defensive midfield in Serie a for Empoli. He has made 4.1 tackles and interceptions per 90. He makes around 1 key pass per game. He makes around 2 dribbles per game.
He gets fouled 1.5 times per game, he makes 51 passes per game completing 86% of them. He makes around 4 long balls per game and clears 0.7 times per 90.
He is a lot alike Lucas Torreira and if Empoli gets relegated someone like Napoli or Rb Leipzig could swoop in and take him as a bargain.
3. Merih Demiral
Merih Demiral has had a very good season breakout season in seri a and Turkish league. He moved from Alanyaspor to Sassuolo for 6.3 million in last winter.
He has shown that he has all the potential in the World.He makes 3.5 tackles and interceptions per game and attempts around 45 passes per game at a success rate of 81% and he hardly gets dribbeled past. He also makes 5.7 clearances per game.
This type of form has made Demiral attracted to the big boys and apparently, Juventus are interested in him that may be a step too far for him especially as he was playing in Portuguese 2 division just 2 years ago. This ultimately tells us that he is another special centre back coming from Italy.

4. Ludovic Blas
Ludovic Blas is an established midfeielder in the relegated Guingamp. He has played all over the midfeild playing in defensive,central,right,left and attacking midfeild..
His stats reflect the last statement as he has very balanced stats. He has 7 goal contributions in Guingamp side who in total have scored 27 goal contributions per game. He makes 2.5 tackles and interceptions per game,he completes around 2 dribbels per 90.
His stats show us that he can do bit of everything and some team who needs cover in central midfield like spurs. He would be phenomenal under a manager like Pochettino and he would replace Moussa Dembele easily.
5. William Saliba
William Saliba has made 20 appearances for high flying Saint Etienne.During that time he has been phenomenal and this is his breakout season, I think he will have an eye-opening next season.
His stats just make my point stronger as he makes 3.8 tackles and interceptions per 90 minutes. He clears 2.7 times per game, he attempts 40 passes per game completing 85 % of them.he also completes 2.9 long balls per game.
Saliba has been to the likes of arsenal, but I think that he should stay at his club as he would get more game time here and will play in Europe league same as arsenal.
